Smart Parenting, March 2013: Pia Guanio-Mago

I wrote the cover story of this month's issue of Smart Parenting. Interviewing Pia Guanio was such a delight. This was a woman who really shared with me what she thought, felt, experienced, believed in. That's very rare in celebrities. Most of the time, for self-preservation's sake, stars give rehearsed answers—safe, politically correct, non-offensive, bland.

Because Pia wasn't like that, it was so much fun to talk with her. Writing about her adventures into motherhood was just as enjoyable. Pia thinks so, too!
